Policy Statement

Presence From Innovation, LLC (PFI) is committed to the implementation of strategic sustainable decisions in the design and materials it selects and the manufacturing processes it performs.  Our goal is to integrate economic and environmental sustainability objectives into our daily activities with focus on efficient energy utilization, renewable and recyclable material choices and zero waste at the end of the product life cycle.

We believe that embarking on this approach and bringing awareness to our suppliers and employees will maximize our Economic Value Proposition to our customers, deliver sustainable, protective contributions to our environment and in doing so – maximize comprehensive stakeholder and shareholder long term value.

Intent

Products: PFI will strive to design, engineer and manufacture products using the EPA’s trilogy of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle in all applications possible, without negatively impacting product quality or functionality.

Manufacturing: PFI will comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations and aspire to go beyond compliance by integrating values of sustainability, stewardship, and resource conservation into activities and services, while reducing life cycle costs.

Operations:  PFI will make decisions to improve the long-term quality and capacity of the environmental system. Sustainability goals will be set in the areas of planning, decision-making, reporting and alignment.  Indicators and reporting will be established to assure accountability and to show progress.  The goal is to maximize the efficiencies of our operations and services while minimizing our carbon footprint.

Employees & Suppliers:  PFI will share with employees and suppliers the knowledge generated from sustainability research, education, and practice, to help promote environmental awareness and natural resource conservation and will be encouraged to practice these principles in their day to day activities.

Products

PFI has numerous products that are made entirely out of recycled materials and are considered 100% sustainable.  As PFI designs each product’s life cycle it breaks down each section – design, manufacturing, shipping, and end-of-life – with sustainability in mind. Instruction sheets are provided for assembly and disassembly so consumers can quickly and safely enjoy their PFI products, harmful materials like PVC, Polyestrene, and Mylar have been removed from production, and all wood products are constructed using wood from certified sources such as The Sustainable Forest Initiative and The Forest Stewardship Counsel.  These are all steps PFI has taken to minimize its carbon footprint and enhance the environment.

End of Life

PFI designs its products to allow for a smooth and simple end-of-life process.  Ensuring that our products are able to be broken down and reused rather than decomposing in a landfill is something PFI greatly values.  Numerous products are already completely recyclable and sustainable, and those that are not are constantly being reengineered and redesigned to create a greener product.  Products are required to have a maximum of two different materials to simplify the disassembly and recycling of each product.  This all shows PFI’s grand commitment to a greener planet.  For any information regarding Presence From Innovation’s sustainability measures please call at (314) 423-9777.
